My Project

By having a sensory table in the DCD classroom, it will help engage my students with their learning all while helping them with their sensory learning. I plan to incorporate academic learning by using the table as a large sensory bin by having students search for various items such as magnetic letters within rice for example and then having them match or name the letters. The students will be engaged and very excited. I love the idea of this table as we can switch out items in the table and also put water in it. My students all have unique needs and love all different forms of sensory input. This will be a very important and beneficial addition to my classroom.
