Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a public schools with many preschoolers and kindergarten student with special needs. While they have many goals, one of their biggest challenges is working on sensory processing skills. Whether there is too much or too little sensory input, it can severely interfere with learning almost every activity in their daily life.

Especially when working in public schools, financial funds are severely lacking to provide the materials children need to help them succeed in school and every day life.

Funding this project would help me provide young children with sensory materials to help them learn self regulations skills needed to succeed in the classroom and at home. I greatly appreciate any funding you can provide for this project.
