This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach at a small title one charter school. My kindergarten students have been working so hard this year. We are segmenting and blending so we can read and write. I would love to give my students a fun, hands-on way to practice these skills.
It is important to keep things engaging as we practice so many new skills.
These clip boards will provide the materials needed for students to practice making words. The pop-its will provide a fun new way to allow my students to hear each sound in the word and mark those sounds.
