A classroom rug helps set the scene right from the start. It is important to create an environment that is welcoming to the students. I want to create an inviting environment to help these students feel comfortable and included. The rhyme time rug will be used for circle time and group work. We spend a lot of time as a whole class building relationships and skill set. This will give them a fun, clean place to sit and come together. The world rug will be placed in the reading center. It shares the message that everyone is welcome! The reading center lets the students explore a variety of books and encourages them to use their imaginations!
