My Project
Our engineering students become proficient with 3D modeling and applying the design process to solve real world problems. By their senior year, they research problems (like students who struggle to grip writing utensils and access classroom activities or developing custom irrigation systems for our agriculture program) and develop testable prototypes. But students are often limited by our current 3D printers and manufacturing techniques.
A reliable 3D printer will empower our engineers to create more effective prototypes that meet their users' needs.
Additionally, Bambu Lab P1S 3D Printer will allow students to print different materials, which will significantly expand the prototypes they can develop.
In our pathway, older students help teach younger students, and this 3D printer will support younger engineers as they learn how to manufacture custom parts.
