Helping a New Teacher Set Up an Awesome Classroom

My Students

I teach at a high school in Billings, Montana. Although Montana is almost entirely rural, my school is located in the center of Montana's largest town.

The students here are often dismissed or overlooked, but they are academics, artists, and leaders.

Every time I walk through the halls I see those who are in need being helped, those who are lost being led, and those who want more finding opportunities. These kids rarely get the best, but they deserve it.

My Project

I am teaching for my first year in a new district, and, as much as I love it, I need some classroom basics to keep stuff organized. I am asking for a cart for student work and an organizer for student handouts.

These supplies will help my students stay organized, and will give me more time to focus on planning.

While I always strive to make the most out of class time, it can be difficult when there is no organization.

The logistics of setting up a new classroom can be difficult, so I hope you can help me out!
