My Project

My second graders use their iPads for learning in a variety of ways each day. We use iPads to work on individualized learning pathways for reading and math on the iReady app, we practice fact fluency in math with XTra Math, we read and listen to texts and practice spelling words, sight words, high frequency words, and grammar concepts in our McGraw Hill Wonders App, and that only scratches the surface. All of these things are done individually, and all students work at their own pace and own level.

The sound from iPads can be really overwhelming when the entire class is working at the same time, and headphones could drastically improve the classroom environment.

Unfortunately, many of the headphones we were supplied to begin the year have broken or no longer work correctly, and it really hinders student progress.

Please help our class by providing headphones for each student to use when working on their iPad and giving them the chance to focus more carefully on each task!
