Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to make Valentine's Day memorable for the Latin Club we have at school. We meet every Wednesday and this year, guess what? Valentine's is on a Wednesday. I want to make the stuffies with my students as opposed to just giving them one that is already made. We will also share some notes and I want them to have nice notebooks or journals and also, nice heart shaped pens. I think they will enjoy the day and enjoy the presents. We meet every week during lunch.

The students will enjoy learning about a holiday that has Roman traditions.

The Latin Club will be a vessel for learning while enjoying our time together. They can sew their animals as Latin people have done for years and be resourceful! The goal is for all of them to embrace culture and connect with the Latin people.
