Help me give my students three Dell Chromebooks in order to differentiate instruction for the needs of my class!

My Students

I have a class of 30 amazing 5th graders this year. We have all been affected by COVID-19 in some way or another. Whether that be by quarantine, having a family member hospitalized, or mental health issues from the pandemic. It has been a rough couple of years to say the least.

My students are desperate for connection, relationships, and engagement.

My Project

These additional Chromebooks will allow for students with learning difficulties (ELLs, ADHD, behavior) to engage more fully in our digital classroom activities. With 2-to-1 Chromebooks, all students will be paired up with a classmate.

Providing three Chromebooks can allow for students who have specific needs to have their own Chromebook where I can support them with resources.

For example, an English language learner (ELL) student would benefit greatly from having an individual Chromebook where an Immersive Reader can read the text aloud to them in their native language. Then, the student would have a greater likelihood to comprehend the content and engage with classmates in further discussions/activities.
