This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each year in the spring, my students take state mandated tests. This is brand new to most of my students. Students are required to sit for at least 60 minutes or more while taking these tests. While students have their own desks and chairs, imagine as an adult having to sit with no breaks for at least an hour in a hard plastic chair!

I would like to provide my students the opportunity to sit comfortably in their seats during this time.

I'm wanting to provide students with seat cushions which students can use to make testing more comfortable for them. Many of my students are very fidgety and having a comfortable cushion for their tush would help them when they start to wiggle! Your donation toward comfortable seat cushions for their chairs would be a wonderful blessing.

My goal is to have students become comfortable during this testing time, so they be able to focus on their work and give their all on their tests. Perhaps they won't be concerned about sitting for so long with a soft chair cushion. My students try so hard every day to learn what's expected of them and to they are very hard workers. I would love them to have this advantage as an extra push to make them feel secure and comfortable during their testing.
