My Students
"I wrote this by myself!" These are the words I love to hear from my students. My students exercise are creative learners, yet have to learn with limited resources.
I'm challenged to teach my students how to read and write due to the fact that I work in a title 1 school with two-thirds being Hispanic and English learners and it's difficult for their parents to assist them with homework.
By having assigned homework on the computer, I'm hoping to differentiate activities according to their reading abilities using the iPad mini.
My Project
My classroom is made up of diverse group of students that need differentiated instruction in small groups. The students get caught up in their creative work which could create distractions for other students trying to focus on doing their best work!
The partitions, or dividers are perfect, lightweight, and will help give my students with attention problems a distraction-free working zone.
The reading trackers are fantastic for my struggling readers to avoid skipping lines as they read.
These supplies will help eliminate or reduce distractions like the students playing in the kindergarten yard behind our classroom, or watching the group work on the next table.
