I am a 3rd grade teacher with 22 students in my homeroom and 42 math students. We are in desperate need of a pencil sharpener in our classroom. The school issued manual pencil sharpener we now have seems to eat our pencils without sharpening them. I have provided a set of colored pencils for each student, which they keep in their desk to use. Currently, we have to gather everyone's pencil bin and walk down to the office to sharpen them, which wastes precious learning time. I am requesting a Heavy Duty Pencil Sharpener from Office Depot. This pencil sharpener is exactly like the one our office has, which has been used for the 9 years I have been at this school. This sharpener would benefit this year's class and many, many more to come! We greatly appreciate your generosity!
