Students are motivated to complete lessons, stay focused, and persevere through challenges knowing that their effort can lead to a reward from our iCan, iWill, iGrow cart. Items such as plush animals, play dough, squishies, and small toys have been used as meaningful incentives that encourage students to stay engaged and take ownership of their learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the incentive materials, their excitement was immediate. They were eager to begin working on their iReady lessons and quickly made connections between their effort and the opportunity to choose a reward. One of the most impactful moments has been seeing students who were previously hesitant or discouraged become more confident and willing to try again after struggling. The incentive system has helped shift their mindset from frustration to persistence, reinforcing the idea that growth comes through effort.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, students will continue working toward mastery in their iReady lessons as part of their daily routine. As they complete lessons and demonstrate progress, they will earn opportunities to select rewards, which reinforces consistent engagement and celebrates growth over time.
