My Project

Over the years, our school has seen an increase in students who are visually impaired. When we go to teach these students how to use a microscope, we hit a road block. Visually impaired student have a hard time using the microscopes due to their impairment. Our department has purchased one computerized microscope, which projects the slides on the overhead, but it is to be shared with the whole department, and showing visually impaired students a slide on the overhead is not effective.

We need LCD microscopes for the visually impaired students.

Learning how to use a microscope is one of the fundamentals in science curriculum and all students need to be able to use one sufficiently.
