Help me give my students a ball winder to wind our yarn! We got a donation of many hanks of yarn, but they're impossible to knit directly without the help of a ball winder!

My Project

We are a transfer high school. Students from all over NYC transfer into our school in hopes of finding a non-traditional education that works for them. We have a strong arts program and use the arts to connect with STEM. Our students in Fiber Arts have been working with crochet, knitting, and other arts.

Help us turn our beautiful yarn into accessible cakes!

We just got a generous donation of 100s of hanks of yarn. Unfortunately, it is difficult to work with these hanks of yarn for our Fiber Arts course because they need to be wound first.

We will be able to continue work on our scarves, hats, and more thanks to your generous donation!
