Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We asking for new DURABLE uniforms for out Basketball team. Our young, hungry players play against other schools within the Bronx.

Our school supports and cares for students in temporary housing and our school building can be located in one of the biggest low income area in the South Bronx.

Our student body is made up of 69% Hispanic/Latinx students, 26% Black/African American, and more. We pride ourselves as a school that cultivates love, acceptance, joy and develops leaders in every student, especially ELLS and students with IEPs to be our future leaders and will guide the next generations to come.

These kids work hard practicing every Saturday for roughly 2 hours. Then on game days we walk or take buses to other schools. These kids are really putting in plenty of handwork and hard work to increase their skills. We will be grateful for any support that we may get, if it's a donation or sharing our project.
