Help me give my students the ability to access the WWW and learn state of the art information as it is available! The IPAD Air will help to bridge the information gap.
My students are from many different cultures, races and beliefs. They want to be able to create work that will show off their abilities and talents. I teach in a Title 1 school with more than 75% of the students coming from low income families. We have limited resources. I have 32 students (yes, we are at capacity) and I would like to be able to access the world out there and add some current information available on the web into our classroom! Reading, writing, math, science and social studies are important and we need to be able to access the most current information out there. We need to be able to share videos, online programs and differentiated learning styles to our curriculum.
My Project
Up to date information changes in an instant. My students need the ability to access the WWW and have information at their fingertips.
My classroom currently has 32 students with only 3 mini computers and 3 ipads.
This Ipad will help bridge the gap between what we have available to us in the classroom and what is available in the world.
This new Ipad will allow us to see up to the minute information, access new programs that will assist the students and help bridge the gaps in their learning. Students love technology and they need to have access to it!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
