My Project

My students are outstanding and caring by adopting 4 guinea pigs that were abandoned at our school's doorstep. They have named them One-Eyed Willy since he was born without a right eye, Fluffy Lily, GB, & Pepita.

Students have been asking questions about the care of these animals.

Students have volunteered their time, and instead of having lunch in the cafeteria, they have all agreed to stay upstairs and study these animals' behaviors.

The materials that we are asking for, including small animal bedding, hideout material, and cage liners, are to maintain the health of these animals and help students research what food they need and how to keep their habitat clean, making our students mini researchers and future veterans. This will help my students learn to care for others responsibly.
