My Project

Imagine knowing you need to be dressed warmly to play in the snow at recess, but you also know you don't have the proper clothing, or you forgot them.

Our students are supported in many ways for the cold, but they can't always get everything they need, or sometimes forget their warm gear and have to borrow ill-fitting items, or have to stay in an area that will keep them warmer and dry, but they aren't able to really enjoy the snow at recess.

This project of hats, mittens, and snow pants will ensure my students have all the warm gear they need to play outside safely as well as stay warm, and come in to dry socks and pants or shirts if their gear gets too wet, as well as hair ties and headbands to keep the long hair up and out of faces. All of these items will ensure they are warm and comfortable so they can continue learning after coming in from the cold or not bringing or having what they need from home.
