Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students at our school are a very enthusiastic and inquisitive group of learners who are always searching for innovative ways to explain the world around them. It is this thirst for knowledge that motivates us, teachers, to find the resources and materials they need to quench that thirst.
I strongly believe that they love coming to school every day because they know that we will always go the extra mile for them and how can we not?
Just one look at those smiling faces every morning and our hearts melt. It reminds us that we are here for them and that we will do anything in our power, with the help of people like you, to give them the best education possible.
My Project
The students at our school need stools to increase the number of seats in the auditorium so that every child has a place to sit when they cannot play outside due to inclement weather. We need 20 additional seats in order to accommodate all students in the auditorium at one time when it is raining, too cold, windy, or too hot to play on the playground.
During inclement weather, all students are housed in the auditorium to protect them from the harsh climatic conditions outside.
That is why they would like to have 20 stools to add to the number of seats in the auditorium. This way students can stay warm, dry, cool, and be ready to learn in school.
