This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our class is currently working on the reduce, reuse, and recycle unit.
Teaching students the importance of how to save our planet is very important.
It is for this reason that I am asking for reusable water bottles for each of my students. My parents currently donate water monthly, but sometimes that's not enough water to last us through the month. Therefore, I find myself buying cases of water myself. However, since we started our reduce, reuse, recycle unit, I have been teaching my students the importance of recycling. We have begun to create different things with the plastic water bottles that we no longer need. The students are amazed at everything that we can create with them. Now it's time to stop wasting so many plastic water bottles and provide them with insulated water bottles that can be reused daily while inside or outside the classroom. With the weather warming up, it is very important for them to stay hydrated.
