Help Us Stay Focused Through Another COVID Outbreak
Help me give my students journals, dinosaurs, stress balls, and other prize incentives to keep our stress levels low while we work through another COVID outbreak.
My beautiful students range in age from eight to twelve years old. Unfortunately, most of my students already have obstacles blocking a successful beginning to their academic and social journey. Many live in poverty, struggle with the English language, and have extremely limited resources.
Even though my students are faced with many challenges, they have a strong willingness and desire to learn that is second to no one!
If you were to visit our classroom, you would notice positive energy, focus, and lots of engagement.
My Project
Many of the students and teachers in our school have been absent due to COVID. Although we love to learn, and our teachers love to teach, the pandemic has hit us hard. Our focus and stability have been shaken.
My students are tired but I know they are trying to get through this second round of COVID.
If they have an opportunity to earn prizes for being focused, or doing their best, I know it will bring some much-needed relief. Stress balls, squishy toys, tiny stuffed animals, and motivational notepads will be the prizes they can earn. Please help me to help my students focus on their learning rather than on things they cannot change.
