This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I am a school counselor in a very small district. Although we are a low-income/high-poverty district, this doesn't stop the staff or students from wanting to learn and grow together.

I want to provide staff and myself with ease of access to something such as a communal paper shredder to assist with the transient population and endless paperwork.

My Project

We are in dire need of a paper shredder in the office. The one we currently have is on its last limb, is about 30+ years old, jams from just one paper inserted, and is lopsided due to missing legs. Our students are very transient, and we are often shredding ALOT of old paperwork, schedules, copies of files, etc. As the school counselor, I also am in need of a smaller shredder in my office, and a webcam so that I can lead our student assistance program meetings from my desktop office computer. Please help make our lives easier!
