My Students

Technology is the future! That is what our class says! My class loves technology. We have everything from our very own iPad, Tag Readers, an iPod and computers. Technology is a great way for students to learn new things.

I have 20 tech savvy students in our public school classroom.

I am the only teacher all day, so I am constantly looking for ways for my students to be able to learn things independently, and technology is helping me do this. The students are not only intrigued with using technology, they are also able to do it themselves without the help of a grown up.

My Project

I am requesting a listening station, complete with a CD player and headphones so students can listen to stories while following along with a book. The station comes with a circuit so up to 8 students can listen at one time! I am also requesting two additional headphones to use at the computers we currently have, as well as an adapter for our iPad. This adapter will allow for the iPad screen be put on our big screen so several students can see it at one time.

Technology truly is a great way for students to learn.

I have used it, and my students are proof that they can use it independently as well as benefit from using it. Please help us add to our technology collection. These materials will not only help the group of kids I have now but will help many students in the years to come.
