Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Back in November, I thankfully had a Donors Choose project funded for food items to start our classroom food pantry! It was such a success that my students were able to benefit from this food pantry for several weeks!!

Currently our food pantry is temporarily closed because the food items have run out and every day I have students ask me, "I forgot my snack, could I get a snack from the food pantry?"

It breaks my heart when I have to tell them that there's no more snacks in our food pantry. For this reason, I have made it my mission to do what I can to restock their food pantry. I have created this project and another project to raise my chances of getting the most food items for my students. In this project, I have added Skinny Popcorn, CLIF Bar brownies and chocolate chip bars, KIND granola bars, Fig Bars, Takis chips, and Frito Lay Flamin' Hot chips! I've also added a pink bulletin board roll to decorate their food pantry wall! Please help me restock our classroom's food pantry to finally be able to open it back up to my students!! Thank you!!
