This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager readers and writers! They love to be back in the classroom. Many students in my class qualify for free lunch based on income level. My students do their homework and come to school almost everyday. They enjoy learning with hands-on objects and real world applications.

Students are excited to do self-researched topics about people of the past!

My Project

We will present the people (for whom we have books for) to students to select their person for the biography.

Part 1 - Students will read and take notes on the person's childhood, adulthood, characteristics, and a timeline of their life.

Part 2- Students will type their 5 paragraph report on their computers using the mesh stands.

Part 3 - Students will complete a portrait of their selected person and display it with the report.

Part 4 - Students will present their report to the class and answer any questions they may have.
