Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The poster paper and markers will help us write out our group research. Discuss what we have learned and collaborate. The pencil as are to help us with writing out our research notes and essays. The construction paper, cardstock, copy paper, markers, laminating sheets will help to make brochures, posters, or other things to present what we have learned through our research. Our first project of the year is our Family Culture project where students go home and talk to all generations in their family to learn more about their own family culture. Students come to school and share with their classmates who their family is. This helps students build a strong classroom environment.
We also use our materials to create a poster about different Native American tribes.
Overall, these materials will help our students learn how to present ideas in different formats, as well as hone in their writing skills. Moreover it helps our students show off their creativity. This will help us meet our writing, reading, communication, visual performing arts and social studies standards.
