This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Have you ever really needed to organize your closet? You know how crazy it feels when your desk is full of clutter? That's how my classroom feels now. Our books need some major organizing.

I teach second grade in a very low income neighborhood.

Mt students come from a variety of challenging situations. Some of my students are English Language Learners and others come from single family homes. Some of my students live in shelters. All of my students are eager learners and all of my students deserve a great education!

My Project

I have a classroom library that needs to be organized. While I have books in the library, the baskets the books are in, are falling apart. The baskets do not match and are very, very old. I need new bins so that I can organize my library. With two different colors of bins, I can easily separate my leveled library from the genre library. These bins will make it much easier for my students to access the books in out library.
