Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

We are the Class of Champions. We are ready to get our head in the game to beat any standardized test that comes our way, or any tricky objective.

Our class motto is "Work hard. No excuses." My students are expected to work hard like Champions every single day. Our school scored the worst for 6th grade math in the entire district, which is one of the largest in the nation. This year, we are ready to prove how smart we are, and we need your help.

We don't have the supplies we need for our daily practice, and like any good team, we need to continue to practice daily to win the game! We would like to be able to practice our math problems each day on dry erase boards and we need markers in order to do that. In addition, the students are able to review and track their success towards our big goal of beating the standardized TAKS test. In order to create reports, we need printer ink for our class printer.

We don't have equipment we need for practice, but we hope you will be our teammate, cheerleader, or biggest fan and support our team!
