My Project

Our classroom 3D printers open up so many opportunities for students to design, create, problem-solve, and bring their ideas to life. The only thing holding us back is something simple: filament! With your help, we can stock our classroom with enough filament to keep our printers running without constantly worrying about running out.

With Halloween and Christmas right around the corner, students will have the chance to design and 3D print their own decorations for our school.

They will also be able to create fun projects to take home and share with their families. What may look like a simple decoration or small 3D-printed object is actually an opportunity for students to practice creativity, measurement, design, problem-solving, and the engineering process.

I want my students to see that they aren't just consumers of technology—they can be creators and inventors. They can start with an idea, turn it into a digital design, troubleshoot when something doesn't work, and ultimately hold a physical creation in their hands.

Your donation of even one roll of filament will help keep our printers running and give students more opportunities to learn by doing. With a supply of filament ready to go, we can spend less time worrying about what we have left and more time designing, creating, experimenting, and learning!
