My Project

Healthy eating should be important to all kids. In our class we learn about nutrition and healthy eating (especially during our nutrition unit). I try to set an example for my students when it comes to eating. If they had the opportunity to see healthy food grow and be able taste it in a safe environment, maybe that would help to foster healthy eating.

Each year, students will get to vote on what they want to grow.

They will then have the chance to care for the plants, harvest the plants, and eat the plants. We will research best plants to grow in our zone and what it takes to grow healthy food.
