The books and supplies in this project will make a difference for my students in their engagement to read and write as well as developing their understanding of the human experience.
These student requested books are windows and mirrors into dynamics of humanity that I wish to highlight for my students to learn and grow.
My goal is for students to grab a book that they will always remember and be able to experience it in an engaging way in our classroom. In order for that to happen, we need the books they have requested on a list I have posted for student requests. We also need the writing and time management supplies to be able to reflect on their learning using these wonderful resources.
My students are engaged, interested early adolescents that want to learn about humanity and life on a deeper level. These resources will allow them to keep doing just that especially knowing that others generously purchased books that are the most requested in our classroom!
