My Project

My students love to help. They are always willing to support someone or something in need. The recycle bins can be used around campus and are light weight enough to take with the grabbers for campus and local clean ups. They enjoy projects that help build up the school and get them out into the community. Our school campus is basically in a savannah and is home to quite a few animals, including endangered gopher tortoises.

These resources will help students to learn about our gopher tortoises, participate in local beach and community cleanups, and embrace the importance and ease of recycling.

We are very close to coffee shops and other sources of quick bites and students often come to school with cans and other recyclable items. Additionally, we participate in local street cleanups and the recycle bins are easily transported from campus to the sites we go to.
