Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

If you want to see terrific kids, help fund our project and see the pictures of my class. These children are so fun-loving and full of life. Each day, not only are they learning, I am also learning new things from them.

Many of these children come from low-income homes.

It is very hard for them to get supplies and the items they need to help them in life. They deserve to have the very best. They attend a wonderful school; however, like many schools, money has become an issue.

My Project

My children want to have a pool party at the end of the school year. Many of the children don’t have a summer shirt. They were very sad when they said they had nothing to wear to the pool party. Every child should have the proper clothing. We need shirts for the kids. These shirts will help the kids feel part of the team and have confidence in themselves because they are happy with their shirts. No child should ever be left out or feel like they can’t do something because they don’t have the clothes to wear to attend.
