Help us get ready for the VexIQ 2018-2019 Robotics Championships!
My students need these items to prepare for the 2018-2019 robotics competition season.
This project expired on September 1, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My school is an excellent example of how students from all kinds of different backgrounds can work with one another. We are a very diverse population in a rural area known for our amazing beaches and agricultural production. My students have extraordinary potential and it is my hope that by expanding students knowledge and exposure to STEM concepts new paths in their future may open up that they may not have considered before.
While students might think they are just “playing”, the hands on knowledge and experiences they gain will last a lifetime and be invaluable.
Vex IQ integrates many different STEM concepts. The program allows student teams to be creative and apply technology, engineering, programming, and mathematics skills to work collaboratively with others to achieve an end goal of going to the world championships. While students might think they are just “playing”, the hands on knowledge and experiences they gain will last a lifetime and be invaluable in our ever changing technology driven world.
Students will design, engineer, construct, and code/program their Vex IQ robot in collaboration with other students in anticipation of entering competitions against other schools around the state and possibly the world.
