Help Us Fulfill Basic Needs First and Innovation Will Follow!
My students need paper for our printer so we can display all their amazing writing projects! They also need basic supplies like tape, glue, pencils, and markers to express their creativity.
My students come from a wide range of backgrounds and developmental needs. Our Title I school has a diverse student population with many fifth graders who are just beginning to learn English. There are over twenty languages spoken among our families and our entire school qualifies for free or reduced lunch. In addition to the language learners, my classroom includes students who have various learning differences which require individualized instruction.
My fifth graders perform best when they do not have to worry about limited resources and they can focus on learning!
My teaching philosophy is to maintain a friendly, supportive classroom so school is a joyful place for everyone to learn.
My Project
Our classroom is in desperate need of supplies to support student goals. If our classroom does not have to worry about basic supplies we can focus on learning. We use an interactive vocabulary program and the work that we put into our notebooks require the use of glue sticks. Our students are creative and eager writers. They are motivated to word process their work and display their published pieces, but we can't do that without paper.
Our classroom needs basic resources like paper, glue, markers, and tape so we can complete our projects and students can meet their goals.
These resources will last us the entire school year and help in ways you can't imagine. The possibilities are endless when you have the tools to you need to learn. We have the most eager learners in our room and their families have contributed everything they can. Please help us meet their learning needs with some supplies.
