My Students
My students love learning in different ways. My classroom is full of eager learners who have many different learning styles. I have many students who are English language learners. Many of my students are visual and tactile learners. My students love learning new things and creating things to show what they learned. They like to share what they have learned with other classes in our school. Science and social studies are the subjects that my students love the most.
My students also love using technology to increase their learning and to share what they learned.
My students continue to amaze me every day with their knowledge and love for learning.
My Project
I am asking for supplies to allow us to paint in the classroom. I love doing art projects with my students, as well as allowing them to create gifts to take home.
The paint and supplies that I am asking for will allow my students to express their creativity in a different way than if they were using crayons and markers.
I am hoping that for some of my more shy students this medium will give them the encouragement and outlet that they need to feel more confident to share.
I am also asking for dry erase boards. We use dry erase boards a lot in our classroom and over time they get beat up. Our class size also recently increased by 10 students and we do not have enough boards to go around right now. I use boards for quick checks to see if students have grasped a concept. It is easy for me to have students answer a question on their boards and then show the boards to me. I can quickly scan the room to see who needs to be pulled into a small group. The materials that I am asking for will increase creativity and learning in my classroom.
