Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach all levels of high school English & Link Crew, which is a program designed to welcome freshmen and prepare them for high school socially and emotionally. Though some supplies requested may seem childish, teens love using gel pens, colorful markers and crayons during group work.

In addition, we make many posters to increase kindness and positivity on campus.

These posters are some of the first things our new freshman will see when they visit campus for orientation, campus tours, and familiarizing themselves with the high school experience. We look forward to answering their questions and rewarding the participants with candy and small prizes.
