Your donation has made an incredible impact on our robotics and engineering program and, most importantly, on the opportunities available to our students.\r\n\r\nThe addition of these printers has completely changed what our students are able to design and manufacture in the classroom. With faster printing speeds and improved print quality, students can now move through the engineering design process much more efficiently. Instead of waiting long periods for a prototype, they can design a part, print it, test it, identify improvements, and quickly create a new iteration. This has allowed our students to experience engineering as a true hands-on process of designing, testing, problem-solving, and improving.\r\n\r\nStudents have used the printers to bring a wide variety of projects to life. They have designed and created games incorporating robotic mechanisms, fabricated custom components for our FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robots, and produced specialized parts for our Sustainable League of Combat Robots (SLCR) competition robots. These accomplishments represent countless hours of designing, building, programming, testing, redesigning, and working together as a team.\r\n\r\nWhat makes this support especially meaningful is the growth of our program. We are only entering our fourth year, yet our robotics and engineering program has grown exponentially. We serve students from a community that has historically been underrepresented in robotics, engineering, and other STEM fields, often because of socioeconomic barriers and limited access to these types of opportunities.\r\n\r\nYour donation helps us change that.\r\n\r\nWhen students have access to professional-quality technology such as 3D printers, robotics equipment, CAD software, and engineering tools, they begin to see themselves differently.
