Help me give my students noise-cancelling headphones to help with sensory issues during assemblies and other settings with overwhelming, loud noises.

My Project

Being the emotional support/autistic support teacher for K-5, I service 50 special education students. These students have varying sensory sensitivities. Our school wide positive behavior initiatives often feature engaging, exciting assemblies and activities. While my students love to participate, sometimes it is very difficult for them to make it through without sensory overload. These headphones would also be beneficial and used from day to day for high traffic times, such as the cafeteria and recess. Many times my students ask for these noise-cancelling headphones, but due to the limited amount I was able to buy myself, there aren't always enough to go around. My goal would be to have a pair for each of my students, that way they can feel comfortable and confident without any anxieties about the noise level!
