HELP US BRIGHTEN UP OUR HALLWAYS WITH NEON ART!

Help me give my students painting materials to create loud, playful, and colorful works of art- from portraiture to abstract art and animals, the neon tempera paints really brighten up a school and my students LOVE using them.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are incredibly talented and, given the appropriate resources, really show phenomenal progression in the arts. Additionally, my students are motivated to continue pursuing the arts and I would like to continue to expose them to all styles of art, artists from the past and present, and student work from kids around the world! My students really enjoy connecting with real artists and creating works that honor and celebrate their style of art. We really enjoy sharing our work with others and networking to give our students the best opportunities to learn and, hopefully, pursue interests and future careers in the arts! My students also love participating in the art clubs that are offered every year. We try to get them involved in more advanced projects that will benefit their overall knowledge and skill level!

My Project

My students really love working with fluorescent paints, specifically the crayola brand and every year we look forward to creating poster sized portraits, animals, or floral designs using these paints. We would love to keep our inner city students engaged in increasing their artistic development through participating in projects that exercise their skills.

My students especially love using the dynasty flat head brushes, and since we get so much use out of them, they tire fast and we often need to order new brushes more frequently.

We also love to work bigger, which affords us more time to work towards a quality piece of art. Help us to brighten up our hallways and really "wow" our audiences. Our students need some neon to erase all of the dull - we promise to make something beautiful!
