Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are goofy, silly, funny, emotional, frustrated, energetic, impulsive, and craving someone to care about them. My classroom consists of 10 students with special needs and 15 students of mixed English language learners and general education students. This makes it difficult to meet the various needs of the students in my classroom.

I do my very best to make each child feel special and assure them they can do it.

My school has a huge population of low socioeconomic students, as well as children in shelters. It would be great to give these students a chance and an opportunity to meet their optimal potential.

My Project

During these difficult times, I am doing everything I can to motivate my students and encourage them along every step of this super hard learning world we are in. Having a variety of STEM activities like magnets, building blocks, robots and animals will bring new light to our learning. During my live meetings with my students, I am trying my hardest to keep them engaged, entertained, motivated and happy - those this has been quite a difficult task.

Having a variety of materials to create and design during our virtual meetings will bring smiles and happiness to our learning.

Helping my students smile during the saddest of times is my Number ONE GOAL! This is what they need most right now.
