My Students

Our high school is home of the Jets. It is a unique school, made up of students from all different backgrounds, ethnicities, and personalities. The students have a passion for learning and understanding.

What I love most about teaching and coaching at our high school is that everyone is accepted.

We have created a family oriented community, where every student, teacher, administrator, and staff member feels comfortable and welcome.

For example, during my first year on campus I had a group of students invite me to play on their lunchtime flag football team. The students saw that I was new, and reached out to me to make sure I felt welcomed and appreciated.

My students and players on campus understand at a very young age that when everyone pulls on the same end of the rope and puts team first, great things happen. GO JETS!

My Project

Baseball equipment is at an all time high. Baseball bats and gloves are in the range of $500. Financially schools, and programs like mine, are unable to purchase this equipment along with everything else that needs to be acquired. Receiving a new bat would help my team put up higher statistics at the plate, which in turn would help my players get more looks from college recruiters. Hitting is already the hardest thing to do in sports, and its even harder when you are using dated equipment. This bat would excite my players, and motivate them to work harder, and swing for the fences.
