My Project

My students are artists that range from seventh through twelfth grade in a variety of courses, including 8th grade art cycle, Art 1 ,Art 2 and Art 3.

My students love to create and have a passion for learning.

Through art, my students are learning there are several paths to take when approaching problems and that all problems can have more than one solution. My students are really excited to continue creating with clay with so many options on glazes. I want to introduce and engage them with this new medium through problem solving experiences on the possibilities with some different Crystallite glazes! So fun!

These clay materials will help students understand the science behind temperature and glazes. They will engineer a piece that will be structurally sound. All this while constantly problem solving. The other supplies will help our classroom continue the creative process. Paint pens, clay tools and organizer are all requested. Students would love to put their artwork on a sticker. Please help us make this happen. #bettertogether
