Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My wonderful second-grade students are so driven to learn. They love discovering and exploring. They are always looking for an extra challenge for their brains.

This year, my students have worked really hard as a family to love each other individually.

They embrace our differences and learn to hear each other's opinions. As a family, they have worked on combining subjects in the classroom as we create different projects, some relating to STEM.

I am so proud of my students and their great citizenship skills in the classroom. They display a great sense of respect towards myself and each other. They learn that mistakes are okay and that they can hear other peoples' opinions without getting into arguments. They are learning through real-world examples and are so excited about the future that is to come for them. Thank you for supporting this amazing bunch of kids!

My Project

This year many students are going to face the challenge of meeting grade level standards. Students and teachers alike will be putting in extra effort to help student meet their full potential and do their best. There are resources available on Teachers Pay Teachers that would supply supplemental activities that could help us fill in the academic gaps!
