In the ever-evolving photography landscape, understanding the nuances between mirrorless and traditional cameras is paramount. The proposed project seeks to bridge this knowledge gap by integrating experience into the curriculum of a photography class. With a focus on documenting campus events, students will not only hone their technical skills but also contribute to the school community. Central to the success of this endeavor is the acquisition of a Canon mirrorless camera, seamlessly complementing the existing arsenal of Canon lenses in the classroom. This choice ensures continuity in equipment familiarity while introducing students to the features of mirrorless technology. By utilizing such equipment, students will grasp the differences in functionality, ergonomics, and image quality between mirrorless and DSLR systems.

The requested items will make a significant difference in the students' learning journey.

Firstly, access to a Canon mirrorless camera aligns with industry trends, preparing students for the modern photography landscape. Secondly, utilizing compatible lenses maintains consistency and allows for seamless experimentation with various focal lengths and techniques.
