The students in my CTE classrooms are learning to use DSLR's but the lenses that they have are not sufficient for action shots. They provide free shots for the community and for students. These are some of the only photos that some of our students ever receive. I want them to have real-world experience in photography so that they can step right into a job using professional equipment. This telephoto zoom lens will give students something to put on resumes and also provide our community paper professional photos. They can add their own bylines and already have an opportunity to say they have been published!
