My Project

Half my class does not speak English at home. We are very diverse and more than half are English as a second language. I want them to love reading and learn how fun books can be. I want to create story baskets that rotate weekly.

Each basket has the book along with stuffed animals or paper puppets of the characters in the story.

It helps students with the English language, comprehension, literacy, social engagement, working with others and so much more! I want my students to have a literacy-rich classroom that is fun and engaging.
