Help me give my students visual supports. My students are nonspeaking and they need visual schedules and picture supports for every activity throughout the day. This color printer and laminator will allow my students to have colorful voices!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My nonspeaking students have autism, cerebral palsy or other significant disabiltiies. They are nonspeaking. This color printer and laminator would allow us to make visuals for them to use in the classroom.
To a nonspeaking student, a picture makes more sense than just the word.
These items will be used to make individualized visual schedules for each child. This way our students can participate in circle time, work on their visual vocabulary, and have all the supports we need for them to participate in every classroom activity throughout the day.
