I have 20 amazing Pre-K students. They live in an urban area and face many struggles and challenges.
School is a very important place for them.
It is a safe place where they come to grow, learn, and explore. I truly love teaching them and helping them to build their foundation for future learning. They absorb new information like sponges and have an excitement for life. They always keep me laughing with their funny stories and sayings. I look forward to watching them grow and learn this school year.
My Project
There are several consumable materials that are used by all of the Pre-K students on a daily basis. We have noticed that our stock of supplies has gotten very low. Some of these materials include soap and masks. These items are a requirement for our school with Covid protocol. We go through several masks and a lot of soap each day. We are also getting low on art materials, such as markers, stickers, glitter, ink pads, and other collage materials. These items are used by the students to create works of art. Once they are used in a project, they cannot be used again. These art materials are so important for Pre-K students to be able to develop and use creative thinking and fine motor skills.
These consumable materials are essential for daily student learning.
Children can't learn properly without having the supplies that they need. They should be equipped with what they need in order to have a good learning experience. I would love to have more art supplies so that my students can express themselves through creativity. We would also really appreciate the masks and soap so that we can continue to learn safely.
